In addition to the academically challenging curriculum offered here at Zion Christian Academy, students are also encouraged to take part in the wide range of extracurricular opportunities offered throughout the school year.

We encourage students to begin participating in extracurricular activities at an early age. In the elementary school, we have runners in cross-country, a spirit squad that leads cheers at home football games, and intramural basketball and indoor soccer programs. In addition, 5th-grade students can run for office and be elected to the Elementary Student Council. Finally, students in grades 2-5 are afforded the opportunity to help lead worship during their elementary chapel services.

Middle school students can take part in a number of activities designed to enrich their overall experience here at ZCA. A few of the opportunities available to our sixth, seventh and eighth graders include: singing in the choir, volunteering their time with H2O, take an active role in student government as a member of the Student Council, or participate as a member of a middle school athletic team.

ZCA high school students are our most active extracurricular participants. In fact, 90% of our current high school students take part in at least one after-school activity. There are opportunities available for students with interests in music, science, art, theatre, student government, or service to others. In addition, high school students can earn membership in the National Honor Society or Beta Club. Finally, as a member school of the TSSAA, high school students can join and be involved with one or more of our high school athletic teams.
