Spiritual Life

One of Zion Christian Academy’s most important tasks is to assist parents and the church in helping our students develop a strong spiritual foundation – a foundation that will anchor their lives now and in the future.  We seek to provide each of our students with an academic experience that:

  • Educates and enlightens through a Christian world-view
  • Engages them in their studies and the word of God
  • Enriches their educational experience with a balance of academics, extracurricular activities and spiritual emphasis
  • Prepares them for the joy of Eternity with our Heavenly Father

ZCA students take part in weekly chapel services and volunteer in a wide variety of service-related projects.  Our students take joy in serving others and are responsible for the initiation and implementation of many charitable projects throughout the school year including canned food drives, coat drives, Hannah’s Purse (a local charity founded by a ZCA student), Operation Christmas Child and local nursing home visits.

Additionally, many of our students are actively involved in mission work around the globe.  At Zion Christian Academy, the junior class takes part in a planned mission trip, typically at a destination in the southeastern United States, each spring.
