ZCA Strength and Conditioning Program

All upper campus students have the opportunity to participate in our Strength and Conditioning Program. The program teaches our students the exercises, techniques, and proper training skills to increase flexibility, mobility, speed, and strength. The program also teaches our students the importance of nutrition and promotes healthy lifestyles by utilizing comprehensive and defined exercise programs leading to the overall wellness of our students.

Our in-season athletes participate in team workouts twice each week. Our out-of-season athletes participate in workouts three times each week. During the Summer our athletes attend workout sessions three times each week. All workouts are facilitated by our strength coach, Taylor Ellis of GameTime Sports and Training in Columbia. Coach Ellis is a Certified Functional Strength Coach, and is in his second year working with the ZCA athletic program.
