Upper Campus Library

The library at Zion Christian Academy’s upper campus is a valuable resource for our middle and high school students.

Our librarian, Mrs. Geraldine Amis, has assembled a wide range of both on-site and online tools to assist our students with all of their academic needs.

The following list provides links to some our library’s most used and most valuable tools.

Three years old through fifth-grade students are welcomed into an environment for learning called “The Storyhouse.”  Here students gather for age-specific weekly instructional classes encompassing literacy and library skills.

In addition, a scaffolded print collection is housed within the center for the various needs of our student population.  Three separate book collections provide for the developing reading stamina of our children.  Daily flex time allows for constant access to the collection for students and faculty.  In conclusion, technology-supported interactions range from presentation technology to independent utilization of digital resources.
