Extended Care Program
Zion Christian Academy recognizes the issues faced by working parents today – juggling the busy schedules of both work and family responsibilities can be difficult at times.
Here at ZCA, we try to lessen the challenges of the daily pick-up routine by offering a quality extended care program after the school day is over.
We offer programs that combines both fun and learning. The children have the opportunity to participate in games and outdoor activities (during good weather) while still maintaining some time to complete homework or other tasks that remain from the school day. Our program includes time for refreshments and rest, as well.
Two extended care programs are in operation at the lower campus. PreK3 through 1st grade may participate in the Early Education Extended Care program, housed in the ELC wing of the lower campus.
Students in grades two through five take part in the Upper Elementary Extended Care program which is also held at the lower campus.
Parents can be secure in the knowledge that their children are being supervised by trained, experienced staff members whose primary goal is to provide a great after-care experience for the children in their care
- Afterschool care is offered until 5:30 p.m. daily, Monday through Friday
- Enrolled participants pay an annual cost of $500
- Students not enrolled, who participate on an occasional basis, are billed at a rate of $3.00 per half hour.
